Roadway Construction Service would like to start the New Year by thanking everyone who took part in our inaugural Toys for Tots donation drive, which was sponsored in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps.
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
Donations were received from our employees, some of our clients and their very generous employees. Thanks to your outstanding efforts and generosity, we were able to make scores of less fortunate children enjoy the Christmas Season with a new toy from Santa. Over 400 toys were collected and delivered to children in Los Angeles County. The children received a wide range of toys from toy trucks, games, sports balls, dolls and much more.
We are very pleased with the success of our inaugural toy drive and have set the bar even higher for next year! Based on our initial success and our core belief to help those less fortunate than we find ourselves, we will continue to provide assistance in the coming year with more community outreach programs.
